Arsenal’s Fábio Vieira offered to Bundesliga duo | OneFootball

It’s well known that Arsenal’s Fábio Vieira would like to extend his stay at Hamburg beyond the summer after helping Merlin Polzin’s side secure top flight football for 2026/27, but it’s possible that the Portuguese playmaker could be playing for another Bundesliga club next season.

According to a report from Sport Bild, Vieira has been offered to VfB Stuttgart and Bayer Leverkusen, two clubs that have a better chance of matching Arsenal’s valuation. Hamburg are doing everything they can to extend Vieira’s stay at the club but despite having a €20m buy option, it’s unlikely that HSV are able to pay such a figure, which has led to re-negotiations from the northern club.

Speaking in February, Vieira explained: “I really like the city, it’s very beautiful and they have a large Portuguese community here. When I’m longing for Portuguese people or food, I just have to go to the Portuguese quarter. This way, the city makes it easy to feel at home.”

After Stuttgart made Bilal El Khannouss’ move permanent and with Bayer Leverkusen possessing both Ibrahim Maza and Malik Tillman, it’s unclear as to just how feasible a move for Vieira would be for the European duo.
