Arsenal’s excellent start to the season continued on Saturday when they raced into a 2-0 lead at Bournemouth.
Both goals were scored inside 11 minutes and both were scored by captain Martin Ødegaard.
The 23-year-old has now scored 11 goals in total for the Gunners, and this was his first brace since he was playing back in Norway as a teenage prodigy.
He has also now equalled compatriot Erling Haaland’s goals tally for the season.
