Arsenal’s pre-season plans confirmed – with trip to Spain in store | OneFootball

Arsenal will kick off their 2026/27 pre-season schedule with a match in Spain against Girona FC. 

As part of their pre-season preparations, they will play against Segunda Division side Girona on Saturday, August 1 (8pm local time). The match will be played at the Estadi Montilivi, where Arsenal played the Spanish side in the Champions League in January 2025.

After the match in Girona, the squad will travel to Dublin, where they will play against Real Betis on Wednesday, August 5, at Aviva Stadium, with a 7:30pm local time kick-off.

Following the match in Dublin, the squad will return to London to continue their preparations ahead of the new Premier League season, which starts with a home clash against Coventry City on Friday, August 21.

Arsenal are the reigning Premier League Champions, and will go into the new season looking to defend their crown.
