Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has addressed the media ahead of his side’s meeting with Chelsea on Tuesday.
This is what he had to say.
“He’s not going to be involved tomorrow. We will have to wait until the next game to see where we are.”
“Win tomorrow, that is what we have to do. We have achieved something that is difficult to achieve and can still win the league.
“There are five games to go and a lot can happen. We just need to forget about what happened last week, learn from it and focus on the next game – a London derby at home and put things right.”
“No. And I’ve already said that.”
“We are Arsenal FC, we have to be here to win every single trophy. The demands have to be there.
“The thing I like the most is we are in the Champions League and everyone is still unsatisfied with the situation and I’m happy with that. That’s what we need if we want to move forward as a club and a team.”
“They didn’t need much. Our supporters, our players, our staff. It was a big night and we didn’t produce the performance that we wanted.
“I think it was a good reality check. You have to step to that level for 10 months.”
“They are going to try to come to the Emirates to beat us. They have a great manager.”
