Arthur Melo and Rodinei have been registered in the CBF’s BID and could make their Santos debuts.

According to Diario Do Peixe, the pair are available to coach Cuca for the remainder of the Brasileirão and the Sudamericana quarter-finals. If the side progress in the Copa do Brasil, they can be registered for the next stage.

They will not face Palmeiras on Wednesday at 21:30 at Vila Belmiro in the second leg of the Copa do Brasil quarter-finals. Competition rules require registration before the first leg in two-legged ties. As the first game has already been played, they could only feature later if the team qualify.

Arthur was announced on Monday. He has a contract until December, with the possibility of extending for one more season, and the deal totals R$ two million in wages and signing-on fees. The midfielder has been training at CT Rei Pelé.

Rodinei was unveiled on Wednesday and signed through December 2027. He left Olympiacos, where he had a deal until 30 June 2027, after agreeing an early termination. He arrives on a free and the club will cover only wages.
