Arthur has been voted Grêmio’s best signing of 2025, taking 60.47 percent in a Torcida ge poll. Carlos Vinicius was second with 20.39 percent.

According to Globo.com, the midfielder, a 2017 Libertadores winner developed at the club, returned in August after eight years in Europe. He joined on loan from Juventus until mid 2026, with a possible extension to December, and the club has already begun moves to keep him longer.

Arthur made 13 appearances for the Tricolor in 2025.

The poll also named the worst signing of 2025. Cristian Olivera led with 19.23 percent, followed by Alex Santana on 18.37 percent and left-back Luan Cândido on 16.08 percent.

Cristian Olivera was among the club’s most expensive arrivals in the last window and endured a troubled spell in Porto Alegre. During the season he voiced frustration at a reserve role in an interview with Uruguayan media and publicly expressed a desire to play for Nacional.

He even moved to Uruguay in anticipation of a deal that did not materialise. Grêmio have arranged his loan to Bahia for the 2026 season. In total, Kike Olivera played 37 games, scored six goals and provided two assists.
