Federico Pastorello reveals his client Arthur will return to Juventus from a loan spell at Fiorentina at the end of the season.
Arthur, an ex-Barcelona and Liverpool midfielder is set to return to Juventus at the end of his loan spell at Fiorentina, the midfielder’s agent Federico Pastorello revealed on Monday. The Italian agent provided updates on his client during the event ‘Transfer Room’ in Rome.
Pastorello said Arthur’s salary is too high for Fiorentina, so he will return to Juventus in July. “Then we’ll see what to do,” added the Italian agent, as quoted by TMW.
“Arthur is happy in Florence and at Fiorentina, but I don’t think they’ll activate his clause. Perhaps there will be a negotiation afterwards.”
Pastorello also spoke about another of his clients, Alex Meret, saying that his contract with Napoli will automatically extend.
Arthur joined Fiorentina on a temporary €2m deal last summer. The Tuscans have an option to make his move permanent for €20m. The ex-Liverpool midfielder earns €4.5m plus add-ons and his contract at the Allianz Stadium runs out in June 2026.
He extended his contract by one more season last summer before moving to the Stadio Franchi on loan.
