AS Monaco add Stoke City’s Éric Bocat to shortlist; Burnley also in the race | OneFootball

Stoke City full-back Éric Bocat (27) features on AS Monaco’s shortlist, as the club look to add a reinforcement at left-back, as per a report from Sacha Tavolieri.

Monaco have sold two left-backs this summer. Caio Henrique left to join Ajax Amsterdam and soon after, Kassoum Ouattara, the back-up to the Brazilian, also left. The young Frenchman joined Besiktas on a permanent deal. One recruit has already arrived in this sector. Nazinho joined from partner club Cercle Brugge. It was the Portugal youth international who started Monaco’s Ligue 1 opener against Le Havre AC on Sunday. Christian Mawissa is also capable of filling in here, as he did in the UEFA Europa Conference League in midweek.

However, Les Monégasques are still looking to make a signing here. Stoke City’s Bocat is being considered. Monaco have already made contact with their counterparts at Stoke City. No immediate deal is anticipated, whilst the Frenchman is also the subject of interest from EFL Championship side Burnley, as well as FC Köln.
