In their search for a replacement for Adi Hutter, AS Monaco are showing an interest in Union Saint-Gilloise manager Sébastien Pocognoli, according to a report from L’Équipe.

For now, Hutter remains in his post at Monaco, however, the club’s hierarchy are now actively scouring the market for a replacement. It comes amid an underwhelming start to the season, despite Les Monégasques currently sitting fifth in Ligue 1, and despite a draw against Manchester City last week in the UEFA Champions League.

Former Borussia Dortmund manager Edin Terzi emerged as the favourite to take the job, however, following talks, he has opted not to accept the role. The likes of Marco Rose and Thiago Motta are also being linked.

Pocognoli is also a manager appreciated by the hierarchy at Monaco. However, L’Équipe understands that the Principality club are yet to make contact with the manager who led USG into the Champions League.
