Krépin Diatta has been voted AS Monaco's Player of the Month for October following his outstanding performances for the Principality club.

The Senegalese international edged out Mamadou Coulibaly and Jordan Teze, both of whom were also in contention for this individual accolade. He succeeds Maghnes Akliouche (August) and Ansu Fati (September).

He was a model of consistency throughout October. Deployed on the left against Manchester City, he provided the decisive assist for Teze in the Champions League, as ASM highlighted on its official website.

“Now repositioned as a right wing-back in Sébastien Pocognoli’s 3-4-3 setup, he is thriving in the role, showcasing his tireless work rate and both his attacking and defensive abilities,” added the Ligue 1 club in its statement.

The Lion also provided an assist to Folarin Balogun against Angers and delivered a standout performance against Tottenham in the Champions League, registering four key passes before shots and winning several duels against Richarlison.
