Top of Ligue 1 after a perfect start, AS Monaco will travel to Strasbourg on Saturday at 17:15 on matchday 4 without Mamadou Coulibaly and Jordan Teze, both injured.

According to Nice-Matin, head coach Filipe Luis said on Friday the pair are among the absentees for the trip. He added that Coulibaly’s problem is more serious than Teze’s and will probably take a little longer. Luis also mentioned a muscular issue, without clarifying whether he meant only Coulibaly or Teze as well.

There are no returns. Ansu Fati is not yet ready, Folarin Balogun remains short of rhythm and Mohammed Salisu has rejoined full training but is probably not in the squad.

Teze had already been carrying a knock in Paris last weekend, came on and put himself on the line for the team, and now needs a period of rest. He could be back after the next international break.

Coulibaly was injured after the match at the Parc des Princes. For the academy graduate, it is thought to be a quadriceps lesion.
