AS Roma take on Atalanta on Saturday night at the Stadio Olimpico in matchday 33 of the Serie A season.
Both sides are battling for European qualification, with Roma currently sixth on 57 points and Atalanta just behind in seventh with 53.
Roma come into this game in mixed form, having won two and lost three of their last five league matches. However, they will take confidence from their latest result — a convincing 3–0 win at home against Pisa, where Donyell Malen scored a hat-trick. While their away performances have been inconsistent, Roma have been strong at the Olimpico, winning 11 home games this season and remaining unbeaten there in their last nine league matches.
Roma are dealing with a few injury crises, leaving manager Gian Piero Gasperini short of options.
Lorenzo Pellegrini is ruled out for several weeks due to a hamstring injury, while Manu Kone is also unavailable.
In attack, Paulo Dybala is sidelined after knee surgery, and Artem Dovbyk is expected to miss the rest of the season with a muscle injury. Evan Ferguson and Wesley are also out.
There is some positive news in defence, as Gianluca Mancini and Mario Hermoso have returned to training and should be available. Niccolo Pisilli has also recovered from an ankle injury.
Donyell Malen, who is in excellent form after his recent hat-trick, will lead the line once again as his scoring chart reached double figures (10 goals). He is likely to be supported by Matias Soule and Stephan El Shaarawy in attack.
Possible AS Roma starting XI: Svilar; Mancini, Ndicka, Hermoso; Celik, Cristante, El Aynaoui, Rensch; Soule, El Shaarawy; Malen
The match will kick off at 7:45pm BST on Saturday, 18th April.
In the UK, the match will be broadcast live on DAZN.
