“Feyenoord are a very strong side, we know all the great results they amassed at home. We need to get on the field with the right determination from the start and give our all.”

Asllani is one of several players stepping into the usual starting XI, because Federico Dimarco, Carlos Augusto, Nicola Zalewski and Matteo Darmian are injured, forcing Alessandro Bastoni to play in a new wide left role in midfield.

On top of that, Hakan Calhanoglu and Henrikh Mkhitaryan are only fit for the bench, so Asllani and Piotr Zielinski play in the middle, but it should remain the traditional 3-5-2 for Inter.

“We know the system that we always played with, then if there are changes, the coach will tell us. We are ready,” concluded Asllani.
