L’Equipe reports that Aston Villa and Barcelona have joined Tottenham Hotspur in the race to sign AS Monaco striker Folarin Balogun, 25.
The USMNT forward is in demand after a remarkable 2026 FIFA World Cup under Mauricio Pochettino and a strong season with the Ligue 1 club.
Like Maghnes Akliouche, who moved to PSG, Balogun is expected to leave Filipe Luis’s side as Monaco consider cashing in on prized assets.
It had been reported earlier that Tottenham entered talks with Monaco over the €60m-rated striker, although other suitors have also registered interest.
Aston Villa have made their interest known amid links between Ollie Watkins and Al-Hilal. Barcelona, seeking attacking reinforcements after parting with Robert Lewandoswki and Ferran Torres, are monitoring Balogun.
