Leeds United visit Aston Villa at Villa Park on Saturday at three pm with final team news now in. According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, six players are back across the two camps, while seven remain out.

Villa are third, three points behind second-placed Manchester City and eight off leaders Arsenal with a game in hand. Daniel Farke’s side are six points above the relegation zone and have lost only two of their last 15 matches.

Right back Matty Cash is fit again after a knee issue. Emi Buendia, who took a knock in last weekend’s FA Cup defeat by Newcastle United but finished the match after coming on, appears available. Fellow full back Andres Garcia has rejoined the squad following a hamstring problem and was an unused substitute last time.

Leeds receive a triple boost. Midfielder Anton Stach is back after a hip injury sustained ahead of the win over Nottingham Forest, then missing the next three games. Defender Pascal Struijk has returned to team training after his own hip problem following the 3-1 victory against Forest.

Dan James is also available after back pain ruled him out of Sunday’s tie at Birmingham as a precaution, having only just returned from a three-month hamstring tendon injury. One further Leeds player is out, while Villa’s absentee list is longer, with those updates delivered in the final briefings.
