The list of suitors for Olympique Lyonnais’ Rayan Cherki (21) is growing. The OL forward, set for his first France call-up, is the subject of significant interest from the Premier League.

As per Le Progrès, Manchester United recently entered the race to sign Cherki. They could be joined by their cross-city rivals, Manchester City, according to L’Équipe. Le Parisien have also reported interest from Tottenham Hotspur, whilst it is well-known that Liverpool are a long-term admirer of the playmaker.

Borussia Dortmund are also a long-term suitor and remain in the race, whilst AC Milan also hold an interest. The Serie A side have made contact with Lyon but not with the player’s entourage. L’Équipe understands that Aston Villa could enter into the race and have some convincing arguments to bring Cherki to Villa Park.

The OL academy product’s future is, in a way, linked to that of Florian Wirtz, who is a target for many top European clubs, including one of Cherki’s most keen suitors, Liverpool. With many moving parts, it could take a while for the Frenchman’s future to be resolved.
