Aston Villa could be interested in selling John McGinn this summer if they sign Fulham star Harry Wilson, according to the Sun.
Everton are interested in luring the Villa captain away from the Villa Park club and he was the subject of an enquiry from the Toffees last summer.
Everton manager David Moyes wants to strengthen in midfield and is also monitoring the situation of Tottenham Hotspur star Conor Gallagher.
However, Spurs have to get relegated for the Hill Dickinson Stadium club to have a chance of signing the Englishman and they are keeping tabs on McGinn.
The Villa star has spent eight seasons at the Midlands club but could now be sold if Villans manager Unai Emery gets Wilson.
He was on their radar during the winter transfer window but Fulham decided to hold on to the 29-year-old and are set to lose him for free at the end of the season.
He has weighed in with ten goals and six assists in 34 league games so far this season and will be a great signing for Villa.
Leeds United and other suitors will come for Wilson but the availability of Champions League football at the Villa Park club could be a decider.
A 4-2 victory over Liverpool on Friday night ensured Unai Emery’s men secured a spot in the league phase of the elite European competition next term.
They are also in the Europa League final, where they face Bundesliga club SC Freiburg on Wednesday, and joining them could appeal to the Fulham star.
Villa will look to challenge for the Premier League title next term and signing Wilson and a couple of top players could help boost their chances.
The Welshman plays centrally and in attack, and his experience and quality are top-notch, which is why Villa will be happy to pip suitors to his services this summer.
