Aston Villa are interested in bringing Paris Saint-Germain forward Ibrahim Mbaye to the Villa Park club this summer, according to Sky Sports.
Aston Villa manager Unai Emery wants to strengthen his attacking options at the Midlands club going forward, and the Senegalese international could emerge as a top target.
The Villans target has made 25 appearances for PSG this term, weighing in with a goal and two assists in 19 Ligue 1 appearances.
18-year-old Mbaye has only started ten games this season, and a move to Villa could appeal to him if he is guaranteed regular playing opportunities.
Mbaye plays on both wings and even in central midfield, and the Villans could do with his talents and huge potential.
They are challenging for a top-four finish in the Premier League as they eye Champions League qualification for next season, and securing a spot in the elite European competition could boost their chances of luring the Senegalese to England.
Several Premier League clubs are considering a move for the PSG forward and pipping them to his services would be huge for Villa.
They are currently fourth in the table ahead of the final seven league games of the campaign, one point behind third-place Manchester United and five points ahead of fifth-place Liverpool.
Villa were initially considered the dark horses in the title race earlier in the campaign, but injuries to key players and a lack of quality squad depth derailed their season.
Emery will be desperate to change that ahead of next season, and adding Mbaye to the squad could come in handy.
