PSG’s squad depth was a key factor in their historic treble last season, though not every player seems fully satisfied with their role. Reports indicate one player could be considering a move abroad as several European clubs show interest.

Under Luis Enrique, PSG relied on their extensive roster, winning back-to-back Ligue 1 titles, the Coupe de France, the UEFA Champions League, and the UEFA Super Cup. The Spanish manager’s rotation strategy kept the team sharp throughout a demanding campaign.

However, limited playing time left some players wanting more. Kang-in Lee appears to be among those seeking regular minutes. The South Korean midfielder showcased his ability in PSG’s Super Cup comeback win over Tottenham Hotspur, proving he can make a difference when given the chance.

CaughtOffside previously reported, citing sources, that Napoli, Manchester United, and Arsenal are closely monitoring Lee, with Arsenal reportedly making direct contact to show their interest.

Lee joined PSG in July 2023 after transferring from Mallorca during the summer window. The 24-year-old Korean midfielder and winger is under contract with the club until June 2028.

Although he’s had some impressive performances, Lee still hasn’t fully secured his place in the team. PSG Inside Actus reports that talk of a potential exit continues, with Saudi Arabia showing renewed interest following its pursuit last summer.

More recently, Fichajes reported that Aston Villa are keeping a close eye on Lee as the club looks to strengthen its attack for an ambitious Premier League campaign.

Nonetheless, the outlet adds that PSG are approaching the situation with caution. Enrique values him, but knows the player wants to feel indispensable in a competitive team, so it will be interesting to see what the Parisians decide to do with Lee.
