Aston Villa are leading the clubs exploring a deal to sign Harry Wilson as a free agent this summer.

The Fulham winger is out of contract in July and keen to assess all options before deciding on his future.

Wilson has had an excellent campaign in West London, setting career-best numbers for goals (10) and assists (6) in the Premier League.

The 28-year-old’s performances have made him hot property with Aston Villa eyeing a potential cost-effective deal.

Donyell Malen’s loan exit for AS Roma in January and Harvey Elliott’s unsuccessful loan from Liverpool have left Villa in search of a player to fill their right-wing position.

Wilson could offer a Premier League proven option, while the likelihood of Champions League football boosts Villa’s appeal over other top-flight rivals. Tottenham Hotspur, Everton, Leeds and Crystal Palace are among the other clubs rumoured to be interested.
