Aston Villa revise Walsall date as Far East tour fixtures confirmed | OneFootball

Aston Villa have reshaped their pre-season, confirming Far East fixtures and moving the Walsall date for Real Sociedad.

According to ExpressAndStar.com, Villa open at Walsall’s Pallet-Track Bescot Stadium on Tuesday, 21 July at 7.30pm. The Real Sociedad match at the same venue has been switched from Saturday, 25 July to Tuesday, 28 July, kick-off 7.30pm.

They then face the Indonesia All Stars in Jakarta on Saturday, 1 August at 7pm local time, before meeting BG Pathum United in Thailand on Tuesday, 4 August at 7.30pm.

Unai Emery’s side finish the tour against Bayern Munich in Hong Kong on Friday, 7 August in the inaugural Audi Football Summit, a reprise of the 1982 European Cup final.

The Europa League winners begin their competitive campaign against Paris Saint-Germain in the European Super Cup in Salzburg on Wednesday, 12 August.

Pre-season is due to conclude at Bundesliga side Borussia Monchengladbach on Saturday, 15 August. Villa then start the Premier League season at Brighton on Sunday, 23 August at 2pm, live on Sky Sports.
