Aston Villa set to sign Metz teenager Brian Madjo | OneFootball

Aston Villa have reached an agreement to sign highly-rated FC Metz youngster Brian Madjo, with the Premier League club completing a surprise move for the 16-year-old talent according to a report from Fabrizio Romano.

Villa have agreed a deal worth €12m to secure the services of the 2009-born prospect. A five-year contract has been agreed, with a medical already scheduled ahead of the transfer’s completion. The 1m93 teenager made his debut for Metz at the start of the season in Ligue 1. Madjo has represented Luxembourg and England at Youth levels.

Madjo, regarded internally at Metz as one of the most promising players of his age group, has attracted growing attention for his technical quality and physical profile, despite his young age.
