Aston Villa have completed the signing of forward Amalie Vangsgaard from Juventus.
Vangsgaard joins the club after two seasons with the Italian side after having previously featured for Paris Saint-Germain, Linköping, and Nordsjaelland.
The 29-year-old becomes Villa's third signing of the summer so far following the arrivals of Mia McAulay from Rangers and Kamilla Melgård from Madrid CFF.
"I am very happy and very excited for this new adventure, I can’t wait," Vangsgaard said after joining from the Italian side for an undisclosed fee.
"I think it’s a very strong league… I’m very excited to get into the football world of England.
"I think the whole project around Aston Villa is really cool. The goals they have for the future is a cool journey to be jumping on to. I’ll do my best to get as high in the league as possible.
"It's very motivating to hear about Aston Villa and the plans and the players and staff. I'm really looking forward to it."
Last season, Vangsgaard played 34 times for Juve in all competitions, netting eight times.
