Aston Villa sign Oriane Jean-François from Chelsea

Aston Villa have completed the signing of Oriane Jean-François from Chelsea on a 'long-term deal'.

The Villans have reportedly paid £450,000 for the midfielder who initially joined Chelsea from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2024.

The French international has struggled to get regular game time for the Blues since her arrival, featuring in just five WSL games this season. In total, the 24-year-old played 29 games in all competitions for Chelsea, scoring twice.

Jean-François is Villa's second signing of the summer window after Jenna Nighswonger signing on loan from Arsenal and could potentially make her debut for the club away to Arsenal on Sunday.
