Aston Villa target Ruben Loftus-Cheek

Aston Villa are considering a move for Ruben Loftus-Cheek with Boubacar Kamara expected to miss the rest of the 2025/26 season.

Kamara was injured during Villa's 2-1 FA Cup win away to Tottenham Hotspur earlier this month as Unai Emery's team fight on three fronts this season while keeping pace with Arsenal and Manchester City.

According to John Percy of The Telegraph, Loftus-Cheek is Villa's target to replace Kamara.

The 29-year-old is currently in his third season at AC Milan after joining from Chelsea in the summer of 2023. In his time with the Rossoneri, Loftus-Cheek has played 91 times, scoring 11 times and making three assists.

However, Villa are still under financial constraints and are also reportedly looking to sign Tammy Abraham who played alongside Loftus-Cheek at Milan last season.
