Christmas is a special time of year, but it can be the hardest for many, which is why football players can do so much to help.
That is exactly what Aston Villa, like so many other clubs, have done.
Unai Emery's squad visited a local hospital, spending time and gifting presents to sick children, undoubtedly making their year, and providing them with hope when they might need it most.
It really does show the power of football, and the role it can play in society.
Villa will be looking to give their new friends more to cheer about when they take on Manchester City in the Saturday early kick-off.
