Aston Villa face Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League quarter-finals tonight.
Unai Emery is up against his former side, with Villa aiming to overturn a first-leg defeat in Paris. Villa led at the Parc des Princes but fell to a 3-1 loss, leaving them with a tough task to reach the last four of Europe’s top competition for the first time since 1982.
The Villans bounced back from that defeat in France with a 3-0 win at Southampton in the Premier League at the weekend. Goals from substitutes Ollie Watkins, Donyell Malen and John McGinn did the damage, despite two penalty misses from Marco Asensio. Villa have won eight of their last nine games in all competitions.
PSG have had almost a full week to prepare for the return with no Ligue 1 fixture for the Parisians at the weekend.
Donyell Malen has scored in three consecutive appearances for Aston Villa but will play no part tomorrow. The Dutchman is ineligible, having not been included in the Champions League squad. Ollie Watkins scored off the bench at Southampton and is hoping to return to the starting side, as Villa chase the tie.
Andres Garcia is also not in the Champions League squad, while Villa will hope Leon Bailey is fit to return after a recent absence.
Aston Villa predicted XI: Martinez; Cash, Konsa, Torres, Digne; Kamara, Tielemans; Rogers, Asensio, Rashford; Watkins.
