Aston Villa are interested in signing Palmeiras star Allan in the summer transfer window.
According to Globo Esporte, Villa submitted a €30 million bid to sign the 22-year-old.
Palmeiras turned down their offer, as they consider Allan a key part of their plans for the 2026 season.
Villa are looking to reinforce their attacking options after Morgan Rogers’ record €137m transfer to Chelsea.
Leon Bailey is also facing an uncertain future at Villa Park, with newly-promoted Hull City keen to secure his services.
The Midlands outfit have already completed the signing of Alejandro Garnacho, but they aim to acquire another quality winger before the end of the transfer window.
Allan is one of the best talents to come out of Palmeiras’ youth academy.
He made his first-team debut in January 2025 and has made 88 appearances across all competitions, bagging nine goals and ten assists.
Allan started two matches in last year’s Club World Cup, including the 2-1 defeat to Chelsea in the quarter-finals.
He mainly plays on the right wing, but he can also operate as an attacking midfielder.
Villa rate him highly and are determined to bring him to England. However, they must increase their offer to persuade Palmeiras to sell one of their key players.
With the forward under contract until 2029, the Brazilian club are in a strong negotiating position.
