Throughout the morning of next Saturday (25), at 11 a.m. (Brasília time), Corinthians’ Cultural Department will hold, at Neo Química Arena, the third meeting of the Open Class on the History of Corinthian Arts. The initiative aims to bring the artistic field closer to the club’s historical trajectory, while seeking to highlight how cultural expressions have helped emphasize Timão’s identity over the years.

Participation in the event, which has limited spots, is free. Registrations can be made in advance via email at museudopovo@sccorinthians.com.br. Access will be through Gate C of the Arena, since the meeting will take place in the atrium of Casa do Povo, that is, in the west stand. On March 14 and 21, the first two editions of the open class had already taken place.

In these two meetings, aspects that go beyond football were discussed, seeking to debate Corinthians as a cultural phenomenon and the identity created between the club and its fans throughout its century-long history. The goal of the open classes is to create closer ties among supporters, researchers, and those interested in the club’s history.

Through its Cultural Department, Corinthians also holds other events at Neo Química Arena. One of them is Corinthians Art Week, whose third edition was held in February this year. It brought together notable Corinthians supporters, artists, and figures involved in the fight against racism, also highlighting how Timão and national identity are connected.
