Ademola Lookman has finally found his scoring touch again. The Nigerian forward netted his first goal of the season during the 1-1 draw between Atalanta and AC Milan on Tuesday, in Serie A's ninth round.

After a six-match goal drought, Lookman delivered at the perfect moment: well-positioned in the box, he unleashed a powerful left-footed strike that left Mike Maignan with no chance. The move was brilliantly set up by Mario Pašalić. This goal brought Atalanta level after Samuele Ricci had opened the scoring for Milan with a deflected shot.

With this goal, the former Leicester man extended Atalanta's unbeaten run in the league to nine matches. This could also mark the start of a major resurgence for the 2024 African Player of the Year, especially with AFCON 2025 approaching.
