Atalanta are currently in advanced talks to sign Udinese full-back Brandon Soppy.
The Friuli-based club have already sold Destiny Udogie to Tottenham Hotspur but the left-back will stay at Udinese for another season on a loan deal. It seems like the Friulani could sell another one of their young full-backs this summer.
Sky Italia have claimed that talks between Udinese and Atalanta are now in an advanced stage for Soppy, who had only arrived in Udine last summer from Ligue 1 side Rennes.
The move is said to be in the last stages now, with the fee for the transfer expected to be around €9 million plus a bonus of €1 million.
The Frenchman has already made one appearance in Serie A this season and had played 28 Serie A games last season and had impressed a fair bit. Currently 20, Soppy had played only 11 times for Rennes before he earned the move to Serie A.
