Atalanta interested in Marseille’s Jonathan Rowe | OneFootball

Jonathan Rowe joined Marseille last summer and he could now potentially be on his way to the Serie A, where Atalanta are interested.

TuttoAtalanta report that La Dea are looking around in the market for replacements for Ademola Lookman, who has received a new offer from Inter. While the attempt was pegged back, the Nigerian’s future is up in the air.

Rowe, who impressed at the U21s European Championships is believed to be a very good fit for Ivan Juric’s side and is valued at only €12 million by the French side, who signed the Englishman from Norwich City for only €15 million last summer.

Liverpool’s Federico Chiesa is also seen as an option but Rowe’s profile is gaining prominence at Atalanta, who prefer younger players for their project.

The talent scored three times and racked up just as many assists last season for Marseille, having impressed for Norwich City in the past.
