Atalanta ready to make move for Everton’s Beto

Serie A side Atalanta were dealt a blow by the news of Gianluca Scamacca’s long-term injury and they are now interested in a move for Everton’s Beto.

La Dea are looking to sign a potential replacement for Atalanta and TuttoAtalanta report that La Dea want someone who fits right into the club’s system and Gian Piero Gasperini’s plans.

Beto is someone that Atalanta have liked in the past and they are back at keeping tabs on him. They will soon make an offer of about €20 million for him and they believe that the good relationship between the two clubs could help them sign the striker, who has Serie A experience from his time at Udinese.

Beto is seen as a perfect fit for the club and they feel that he also fits into their long-term plans under Gasperini, who wants another striker to shore up the frontline ahead of the Real Madrid game.
