According to El Periódico Mediterráneo, the Atatürk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul will stage the 2027 Supercopa de España from 2 to 7 February. The four participants will be FC Barcelona, Real Madrid CF, Real Sociedad de Fútbol and Club Atlético de Madrid.

Istanbul was chosen after a period of work and negotiations in which up to seven bids from across the globe were evaluated.

The Real Federación Española de Fútbol worked with SELA during the host selection process. SELA has partnered with the RFEF on the tournament since it has been played in Saudi Arabia.

The Supercopa is now established in the international football calendar and is broadcast in more than 150 countries. FC Barcelona won the 2026 edition.

Staging the event in Türkiye maintains the financial benefits for Spanish football, with proceeds directed to almost 1,000 clubs across all levels in both the men’s and women’s game.
