The Atatürk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul will host the 2027 Spanish Super Cup after an agreement by the Spanish football federation, with Barcelona, Real Madrid, Real Sociedad and Atlético Madrid contesting the trophy.

According to Superdeporte, Istanbul was chosen following a period of negotiations that assessed seven bids from across the world.

The Supercopa de España is scheduled in the city between two and seven February 2027. The federation worked with SELA during the host selection, a partner on the tournament since it has been staged in Saudi Arabia.

The competition is firmly embedded in the global calendar, with broadcast reach in more than 150 countries. Barcelona won the 2026 edition.

The deal to stage the Supercopa in Türkiye ensures the continuation of benefits for Spanish football, with funds directed to almost 1,000 clubs across the men’s and women’s game.
