Athletic unveil new 2026-27 kit for Bernabéu debut against Real Madrid | OneFootball

Athletic have moved early, launching their new home kit, which will debut at the Bernabéu against Real Madrid on Saturday, despite nothing riding on the game.

According to as.com, the 2026-27 home strip carries the motto 'Gure Nortasuna' and is already on sale in the club’s physical and online stores.

Designed by English manufacturer Castore, it introduces red shoulders and a collar with black tape, while the classic red and white vertical stripes are slightly narrower, maintaining the restrained look many supporters expect. The shirt is priced at 95 euros, five more than this season.

Oihan Sancet and Nico Williams, both sidelined by hamstring problems late in the campaign, fronted the launch shoot. Areso and Unai Gómez also modelled the shirt. The goalkeeper’s jersey, worn by Spain international Unai Simón, is dark grey and distinctive.

The immediate roll-out forms part of a broader marketing push built around the club’s identity message.
