Athletico Paranaense 0-0 Grêmio at Estádio Mário Celso Petraglia lifted the hosts to fifth and moved the visitors up to 12th in the Brasileirão.

In the 33rd minute Lucas Esquivel was sent off after a VAR review upgraded an initial caution, forcing Athletico-PR to play the final hour with ten men.
