Athletico Paranaense host Botafogo in the Brasileirão on Sunday, 29 March 2026 at Estádio Mário Celso Petraglia, with the hosts aiming to cement a top half place and the visitors looking to climb out of the relegation zone.

Athletico Paranaense are sixth with 13 points from seven and have won three of four at home. Botafogo are 17th on six points after six. The visitors won their last trip to this ground 1-0 in October 2024.

Athletico-PR arrive with back to back home league wins against Cruzeiro (2-1) and Coritiba (2-0), following a draw at RB Bragantino and defeat at Fluminense. Fogão ended a three game league skid by winning 2-1 at RB Bragantino after losses to Flamengo and Palmeiras.

Furacão list defender Carlos Terán and forward Renan Viana as injured. Glorioso are without defender Kaio Fernando Da Silva Pantaleao, forward Chris Ramos and midfielder Newton.

Athletico-PR have been solid in Curitiba, scoring six and conceding three at home this season. They could look to press that advantage against a Glorioso back line that has conceded nine goals away. Conversely, Fogão's recent away win suggests they may target transitions to unsettle the hosts.

A win would take Athletico-PR to 16 points and could move them closer to the Libertadores places. A positive result for Glorioso would lift them to nine points and aid their bid to escape the relegation zone.
