On Tuesday, Athletico-PR lost 2-1 in a comeback against Azuriz at Estádio Os Pioneiros in Pato Branco, in a match valid for the fifth round of the Campeonato Paranaense.

The goal for Furacão was scored by Bruninho, the club’s 17-year-old gem. On the Azuriz side, Maranhão, who had missed a penalty, and Marquinhos found the net and secured the comeback for the home team.

How was the match?

The first half was lively. At 15 minutes, Chiqueti took a dangerous shot, but goalkeeper Enzo made a save to keep Azuriz safe. Seven minutes later, in a quick counterattack, Chiqueti advanced down the left and crossed to Bruninho, who finished into the back of the net, opening the scoring for Athletico-PR.

In the second half, at 11 minutes, Claudinho fouled Zé Hugo, and the referee awarded a penalty to Azuriz. João Maranhão stepped up, shot to the right corner, but Mycael made the save.

At 32 minutes, Caetano crossed into the box, and Maranhão redeemed himself by heading into the right corner of the goal, tying the match.
