Atlanta United hit the road to take on Charlotte FC in MLS action this weekend.

The Five Stripes fell 2-0 last time out against LA Galaxy despite keeping up with the five-time MLS Cup winners in the first half. Atlanta created a few genuine scoring opportunities but couldn't put them in the back of the net before the Galaxy broke the deadlock in the second half.

Interim head coach Rob Valentino will likely stick with his 4-3-3 setup but could switch to a 4-2-3-1 shape during the match depending on Alexey Miranchuk's involvement. With Ronald Hernandez still out injured with a knee problem, new addition Pedro Amador is set to start again at left-back.

Here's how Atlanta could take the pitch vs Charlotte.

Daniel Rios leads the line / Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports

GK: Brad Guzan - The veteran shot-stopper impressed against the Galaxy, keeping out a penalty attempt and making six saves in the defeat.

RB: Brooks Lennon - Lennon will look to rebound after a quiet showing against the Galaxy.

CB: Stian Gregersen - The Norway international struggled against the Galaxy attack last week and will aim to put in a better performance.

CB: Derrick Williams - Williams was simply unlucky for the most part against LA as his own teammate crashed into him on the opening goal. However, he'll keep his place in the backline alongside Gregersen.

LB: Pedro Amador - Atlanta's only natural left-back keeps his place in the backline, looking to combine with Xande Silva down the left-hand side.

CM: Jay Fortune - Fortune takes on a more defensive role against Charlotte after playing higher up the pitch vs the Galaxy.

CM: Bartosz Slisz - Like Fortune, Slisz is set to sit back and protect the backline in the middle of the park.

CM: Alexey Miranchuk - Miranchuk could get the nod in the midfield after a 30-minute cameo vs the Galaxy. Should he start, he'll more than likely lineup as a central midfielder but take on the No. 10 role.

RW: Saba Lobjanidze - The Georgia international starts out on the right-wing, looking to cut in and create chances for his teammates.

ST: Daniel Rios - After a disappointing showing from Jamal Thiare up front, Rios returns as the starting striker.

LW: Xande Silva - Silva started off well against the Galaxy but faded as the game wore on. He'll look to be a bit more consistent this time vs Charlotte.
