RESULTS:

FULL TIME! ATLETICO AND PSG THROUGH!

OneFootball Videos

Incredible scenes at the Metropolitano as Atleti hold out for a first semi-final in nine long years. It's also the third time they've knocked Barcelona out of the Champions League!

PSG win 4-0 on aggregate against a determined Liverpool side and it will take some side to stop them retaining the title.

What a night!

WHAT A CHANCE!

Ronald Araújo has the chance to level it for Barça but fires his header over at the far post.

Is that it?

Barça running out of time here.

Atleti are camped behind the ball.

Musso comes and claims a long ball into the box.

The Atleti keeper has been brilliant and justified his selection over the returning Jan Oblak.

Five minutes of added time at the Metropolitano and it's all Barça.

The tension is quite something.

GOAL! DEMBELE DOES IT AGAIN!

He just loves Anfield doesn't he!

PSG break and Barcola puts it on a plate for the Ballon d'Or winner to slot home in style.

It will take some side to stop Luis Enrique's men from retaining their crown.

Atleti almost score on the break but Nahuel Molina can't beat Joan Garcia under pressure from a defender.

What a finish here.

Despite going down to 10, Barça have all the ball.

Plenty of time to get a goal too...

RED CARD FOR BARCELONA!

Just like last week, a Barça defender is sent off!

Eric García is shown a red for taking down Alexander Sørloth as last man.

That could be the tie over.

Antoine Griezmann goes off to a huge ovation from the home fans.

Could this be his final game in Europe for Atleti? 15 minutes for his teammates to hold on against his ex-club.

GOAL! PSG TAKE THE LEAD!

And that should be that as Ousmane Dembélé finally gets one right in this tie.

And how! He shifts from right to left foot and bends one past Giorgi Mamardashvili on the edge of the box.

Brilliant finish and he's done it again at Anfield.

Ngumoha has his first shot on target, almost curling one in past Safonov.

The PSG keeper does very well to save and hold the ball.

Salah almost gets through but PSG defenders swarm him and get the ball away.

They have defended very well tonight in most part, led by Marquinhos.

Hansi Flick calls for the cavalry as Marcus Rashford and Robert Lewandowski are summoned from the bench.

20 minutes to go in the Metropolitano.

Can Barça find a goal?

There'll be no first goal for Joe Gomez as he makes way having only come on at half-time.

Rio Ngumoha is on. Can he do it again?

There is widespread boos at Anfield.

PENALTY RULED OUT!

The referee chalks it off. A massive moment in this tie.

PENALTY TO LIVERPOOL!

Mac Allister goes down under a light challenge from Willian Pacho.

But there is a check on the pitch side monitor????

PSG GO CLOSE!

A quick break after Liverpool pile forward almost leads to the decisive third goal.

Kvara slips in Dembélé but he strays just offside before playing the ball towarda Barcola.

He should have stayed onside but he keeps getting in positions. Surely one will land?

DISALLOWED GOAL FOR BARCELONA!

Torres thinks he has his second after being played in by Gavi but VAR deems him offside.

The home fans celebrate it like they've scored.

What a game.

CHANCE FOR LIVERPOOL!

The Reds are pushing for the goal now and Ryan Gravenberch lets fly after the pitch opens up for him.

It blazes wide but they are coming closer.

Can PSG hold out?

A heavy touch from Salah after a nice one-two with Florian Wirtz.

If Liverpool are to score, you would expect one or both of them to be involved.

Désiré Doué is hobbling off with Bradley Barcola coming on.

Didier Deschamps will be waiting nervously for news on both him and Ekitike.

Gomez heads over from a Salah corner.

Not a natural finisher as we've said!

Atleti and Barça are back up and running too.

Expect more madness at the Metropolitano.

The teams are coming back out and there's two more changes for Liverpool.

Isak is off as predicted with Cody Gakpo on in his place. The club record signing looked well off the pace as he returns from that leg break, having just five touches in 45 minutes.

Joe Gomez is also on for Jeremie Frimpong. He's never scored a goal in his professional career. Tonight would be a hell of a time to get off the mark.

HALF TIME!

Barcelona lead 2-1 after a crazy first half at the Metropolitano. Atleti lead on aggregate after Lookman's strike but this tie has a long way to go.

It's goalless at Anfield which will suit PSG down to the ground.

Ibrahima Konaté does well to stop Achraf Hakimi. PSG ending the half well here.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia starts a counter and then slips on the wet surface when the ball comes back to him.

He scored in the first leg and in both games against Chelsea. Can he do it again tonight?

NO PENALTY FOR BARCELONA!

Dani Olmo goes down but both the referee and VAR judge that Marcos Llorente got a touch on the ball.

Nuno Mendes is being forced to come off with Lucas Hernández on in his place.

SO CLOSE FOR LIVERPOOL!

How have they not scored? Marquinhos is why!

Absolutely incredible defending from the PSG captain who slides in to stop Virgil van Dijk from tapping home two yards out.

His wild celebrations say it all. Big moment.

GOAL! ATLETI HIT BACK!

And they're back in front on aggregate once again.

It's a brilliant ball by Marcos Llorente and Ademola Lookman is there to finish.

Bedlam at the Metropolitano.

BIG WORRY FOR LIVERPOOL!

Hugo Ekitike has been stretchered off after slipping going for the ball.

Let's hope he's okay as Mohamed Salah comes on.

Can he make the difference yet again on a big European night?

It's been frantic at Anfield in the opening half hour but Liverpool have had just the one attempt on target.

Fermín López almost makes it 3-0 moments later but Musso just about saves it! Incredible stuff.

GOAL! BARCELONA ARE LEVEL!

Amazing.

Ferran Torres makes it 2-0 with a stunning finish past Musso after being slipped in by Dani Olmo.

Barça are level in the tie inside 25 minutes and the comeback is fully on.

WHAT A MISS!

He's done it again.

Dembélé smashes over the bar on the swivel inside the box. He really should do better.

Liverpool can't keep giving him chances.

Barça haven't kept a clean sheet in their last 13 Champions League games.

They might need to end that horrid run to progress tonight.

Not that it would have been hard but Liverpool have started far, far better than they did last week.

They've had a shot on target which is just one of the improvements.

Good game so far.

Ousmane Dembélé has the holders' first shot on target, forcing Giorgi Mamardashvili into an unorthodox save on the retreat.

The Ballon d'Or winner scored the only goal here last year and should have had a few last week in Paris.

PSG look completely at home at Anfield, spraying the ball around with ease.

An incredible start at the Metrpolitano with Atleti coming right back into it.

This could be anything.

Isak has his first half-chance, heading straight at Matvey Safonov from a corner.

GOAL FOR BARCELONA!

Yamal has a second chance, and this time he scores!

Former Barça defender Clément Lenglet gives the ball away and the 18-year-old is slipped in to finish with ease.

Huge.

PSG won 1-0 here last year and progressed on penalties, so it's hard to imagine they'll be intimidated by the home crowd.

They've started well here and have the first corner.

It's obviously imperative Barça and Liverpool get off to quick starts and, you would think, score the first goal.

There's a minute's silence for the 37th anniversary of Hillsborough at Anfield, which is tomorrow.

A brilliant tribute to the 97 lives lost and the families affected albeit there was some noise from the away end.

What a sight - 'Fight for your shirt' it says!

Needless to say, both stadiums are LOUD.

The teams are out, the anthem is playing and it is almost go time.

Just under 10 minutes away from kick off at Anfield and the Metropolitano.

What a night we have in store.

Arne Slot has said Alexander Isak is only fit enough to play 45 minutes.

What a bold call to start him over Mohamed Salah.

Liverpool's side also contains six of their seven summer signings with only injured young centre-back Giovanni Leoni not starting.

This is the team envisaged when all that money was spent. Can it deliver tonight?

This is just the second time Alexander Isak, Hugo Ekitike and Florian Wirtz have all started together for Liverpool.

Isak's fitness issues and leg break are largely to blame but it is quite a stat considering the money spent on the trio.

Their previous start? A 5-1 win at Eintracht Frankfurt in which Ekitike scored but Isak went off at half time with a knock.

What a night to go for it again.

The big news for Liverpool is that Alexander Isak is back into the team but Mohamed Salah is not! A huge call from Arne Slot.

Will we be seeing a bit more Anfield magic tonight? Liverpool are currently 2-0 down from the first leg ... but don't count them out!

Who do you predict will make it through to the semi-finals? Let us know in the comments! Team news should be with us in 25 minutes.

We have two mouth-watering clashes for you tonight with Liverpool taking on Paris Saint-Germain at Anfield and Barcelona taking on Atlético de Madrid at the Wanda.

Good evening everyone and welcome to one of the most anticipated nights of the season so far. It's Champions League quarter-final second leg night with the first lot of matches coming to their conclusion.
