Atlético de Madrid confirm Memphis Depay and Mario Hermoso exits

Atlético de Madrid have announced the departures of Memphis Depay and Mario Hermoso.

Depay previously signalled his intentions to leave the Civitas Metropolitano earlier this month after just 18 months in the Spanish capital.

The Netherlands scored 13 goals in 49 appearances for Diego Simeone’s side, including a decisive strike in the Champions League last-16 against Inter.

Joining Depay in moving away from the Colchoneros are versatile defender Hermoso, whose contract is set to expire after a spell of five seasons, and Gabriel Paulista.
