This Monday, Ademola Lookman officially signed as Atlético Madrid's newest recruit. The Nigerian has already delivered his first words to the Colchoneros faithful.

After months of seeking a way out of Atalanta Bergamo, Ademola Lookman has finally left Italy this winter. The Nigerian forward has joined Atlético Madrid following his brilliant AFCON 2025 campaign with the Super Eagles.

Pleased to take another step forward in his career, the former Fulham man spoke for the first time as a Rojiblanco this Tuesday. "I am aware of the passion Atlético Madrid supporters have for the club, the players, and the team. They are always there to support us every match, it's exceptional." he stated.

The 2024 African Ballon d'Or winner seems eager to make his debut in Madrid. That could even happen this Thursday in the Copa del Rey clash against Betis.
