Atletico Madrid 'reject' Victor Osimhen €75m offer from Galatasaray | OneFootball

Atletico Madrid have turned down the chance to sign Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen for about €75 million, according to Club Uria.

The Nigeria forward was offered via intermediaries and was prepared to accept a wage cut to work under Diego Simeone.

The Spanish club lack the necessary cash flow to complete such a move in this window, and already have Julian Alvarez leading the line, with no plans to sell him.

Osimhen earns a high net salary in Istanbul, boosted by tax exemptions for foreign residents in Türkiye, and is under contract until 2029. His willingness to reduce pay underlined his desire to join.

He has previously expressed strong admiration for Simeone and Atletico after facing them in the Champions League in January.

Intermediaries have also approached Barcelona, Arsenal and Tottenham, with Tottenham submitting an offer above €55 million that remains short of Galatasaray’s valuation. Osimhen’s representatives will continue talks with interested clubs.
