La Liga giants Atlético Madrid have on Wednesday been afforded a boost on the personnel front.
This comes amid confirmation that Clément Lenglet has returned to training alongside the rest of Diego Simeone’s squad.
Defender Lenglet has for his part been sidelined since earlier this month.
Owing to an unfortunate collision with teammate Axel Witsel during Atlético’s 3-1 downing of Leganés, the on-loan Barcelona man was forced to limp off, amid concerns of a potentially serious knee injury.
In the end, as much was ruled out, but Lenglet nevertheless sat out the Rojiblancos’ ensuing fixtures against both Lille and Real Betis.
In turn, it will have come as a boost for club and player alike to learn of the Frenchman being given the green light to rejoin group training on Wednesday.
As showcased in the footage below, provided by Cadena SER’s Pedro Fullana, Lenglet was back in the thick of things in Spain’s capital this morning.
All of Marcos Llorente, César Azpilicueta, Pablo Barrios and Robin Le Normand, on the other hand, remained absent.
