More changes are expected at Atletico Madrid in the coming weeks with midfielder Arthur Vermeeren potentially moving on.

That deal is expected to cost Atletico Madrid in the region of €42m with Julian Alvarez arriving from Manchester City in a package that is more than double that figure.

Gallagher comes into an already crowded midfield in the Spanish capital and the club are now seeking loan offers for Belgian international Vermeeren via Marca.
