Atletico Madrid ‘to target’ Atalanta midfielder Ederson at around €40m this summer

Atletico Madrid could return to Atalanta for midfielder Ederson in the summer after productive January business between the clubs.

Calciomercato.com reports that the Brazilian is valued at €40m-€50m and that Diego Simeone is keen on a deal.

Atleti are said to be ready to double his salary from around €2m to around €4m per season.

Ederson’s contract with La Dea runs to summer 2027. If he does not extend, summer 2026 would be Atalanta’s last chance to cash in near his full value.

Relations between the clubs are described as stronger than ever after two January deals, with Giacomo Raspadori returning to Serie A after a short spell in Madrid and Ademola Lookman heading the other way for €35m plus bonuses on deadline day.
