Atletico Madrid will sell Alvarez to Arsenal if he wants the move

Atletico Madrid have forced Julian Alvarez to remain at the club until now despite his desire to move to Barcelona and strong Arsenal interest in his signature.

As soon as last season ended, he became one of the most sought-after players in the world as the Argentinian had once again impressed in Spain. Since his time with Manchester City in England, he has remained on Arsenal’s radar, but City would rather sell him to a foreign club than strengthen the Gunners.

Now that Alvarez is in Spain, Arsenal have a chance to add him to their squad and have been working towards that possibility in recent weeks. The attacker remains one of the top players around and is expected to prove once again that he is too good to ignore when he begins playing regularly.
