Atletico Madrid visit the Camp Nou on Tuesday night to take on LaLiga leaders Barcelona in a top four clash.
Atletico come into the game in outstanding form, having extended their unbeaten league run to 13 matches with that success over Oviedo.
Los Rojiblancos occupy fourth place with 31 points from 14 games, three behind Barcelona, and have put together seven consecutive wins in all competitions since a heavy 4-0 defeat to Arsenal in October.
Atletico Madrid, meanwhile, travel without Marcos Llorente, who is set to miss a third straight match after suffering a thigh muscle injury against Getafe on November 23. Centre-back Robin Le Normand is also expected to remain sidelined as he continues rehabilitation from a high‑grade knee injury sustained in early November. First-choice goalkeeper Jan Oblak is back available following his own layoff and has recently featured again between the posts, including in the 2-0 win over Real Oviedo.
Diego Simeone’s side does not have any suspension issues ahead of the midweek trip to Catalonia. Despite Alexander Sorloth netting a brace in that 2-0 victory over Oviedo, indications from Spanish reports suggest Simeone could turn to Julian Alvarez to spearhead the attack from the start, potentially leaving Sorloth as an option from the bench.
Possible Atletico Madrid starting XI: Oblak; Molina, Gimenez, Hancko, Ruggeri; Cardoso; Simeone, Barrios, Koke, Baena; Alvarez
The match will kick off at 8pm BST on Tuesday, 2nd December.
For fans in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland, the match will be broadcast live on Premier Sports, which holds LaLiga rights and lists Barcelona v Atletico Madrid in its Tuesday evening schedule.
