Atletico Madrid visit the Camp Nou this Tuesday as they face Barcelona in the second leg of the Copa Del Rey semi-final.

Atletico’s strong position is underlined by recent results; they backed up their 4-0 win over Barcelona with a hard-fought 1-0 victory against Real Oviedo this past weekend, with Julian Alvarez scoring late to strengthen their place in LaLiga’s top four.

Their Copa del Rey campaign has been perfect so far, with four wins from four matches as they look to reach the final for the first time in 13 years.

Atleti head to Catalonia with a big advantage on aggregate but also have some notable absences in midfield.

Johnny Cardoso is sidelined due to a hamstring injury picked up in a recent La Liga win over Real Oviedo, and Pablo Barrios is still out with a thigh injury that has kept him on the sidelines for several matches.

Even so, manager Diego Simeone can still upon his key forwards, with Julian Alvarez and Alexander Sorloth likely to continue their strike partnership after both played key roles in the first-leg thrashing.

Ademola Lookman, Koke and Marcos Llorente are all expected to feature from the start across midfield and the wide positions.

Simeone is also tipped to keep faith with his usual back four of Matteo Ruggeri, David Hancko, Marc Pubill and Nahuel Molina, lining up in front of goalkeeper Juan Musso.
